In this role, you’ll be responsible for programming and operating advanced 5-axis CNC machines to produce complex parts with exceptional precision and efficiency.
Responsibilites:
CNC Programming: Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 3 & 5-axis HAAS Mills and HAAS lathe machines using CAD/CAM software, based on engineering drawings and models.
Machine Setup: Prepare and set up 3 & 5-axis as well as lathe CNC machines, including tooling installation, proper alignment, and securing of workpieces.
Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure components meet all quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machining issues to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
Maintenance & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and perform regular maintenance to keep machines in top operating condition.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, reduce
cycle times, and minimize scrap.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years as a CNC Machinist, with hands-on experience in 5-axis machining.
Strong proficiency in CNC programming and machine operations.
Experience with MasterCam and SolidWorks is required.
Proven ability to machine complex parts within tight tolerances/
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
A meticulous approach to quality control and adherence to specifications.
Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and project updates.
